Establishment of Himachal Wire Industries
Formed & founded by our 1st Generation Businessman Shri. B.L.
Mahajan (popularly called Lalaji). Himachal Wire Industries was
the first unit to be established in the area. He literally started
with just 1000 rupees in his pocket, along with his friends.
Induction of 2nd Generation
His son Shri. Subhash Mahajan, a bright & talented commerce
graduation topper from Punjab University chandigarh joined the
family business. A new era of success & prosperity began.
Establishment of Himachal Steels & Wires
The main focus was only Govt. until 1984. But, looking at the rising demand of the private sector and commercial market, a 2nd
unit was established by Shri. Subhash Mahajan.
Transition to Private Limited Company
Himachal Wire Industries was converted into a Private Limited company. Despite remaining a family run business, HWI gained
enormous popularity amongst its customers especially Govt.
Establishment of Swastik Food Products
Looking at a huge shortage of locally produced Staple products
like Wheat flour - Atta, Maida, Suji, Dalia, Bran, etc, in the region,
a new unit was established and Swastik brand became hugely
popular in the local & regional markets.
Induction of 3rd Generation
The next generation was introduced to the family business. Shri
Nitish Mahajan, a bright engineering topper with strong
engineering skills and innovative ideas put the journey into 3rd
gear and a new path to success was found coming alive soon
Establishment of Conjoinix Technologies
The Telecom & internet industry was booming and the founders
took a decision to diversify further and entered into a successful
business of Internet Services, after taking a license from the
Department of Telecommunication, Govt of India.
Establishment of Conjoinix Total Solutions
Innovation never stopped and a new venture was started to give
shapes to IT & Software innovations & ideas. This also helped the
group to make a sustainable approach in adopting IT in its
infrastructure and we feel very proud of it.
